Turkey

  • Turkeys are a big birds
  • When they are in farms they can’t fly, however, if they are in captivity they can fly. 
  • They have a long neck without feathers
  • Males have a fleshy protuberance that hangs from the top of the peak and are larger and more colorful than females. 
  • They also have a long tail that they can extend and looks like a fan that used to attract females and ward off enemies. 
  • They are used for meat.
  • They are omnivorous animals, they feed grasses, worms, insects, grains…
