Camel

• Camel is a mammal. 
• It has four legs, shorter than the dromedary  but is more robust, and is characterized by two humps. 
• In these stores the water and energy to spend many days without eating or drinking. 
• It is covered by a thick brown fur on the neck, the humps and legs. This protects them from cold in winter and in summer they drop. Camels are herbivores, eating plants found in the desert.

• Deserts are dry and with very little vegetation. 
• Climates are extreme, in the day makes very hot and at nights are very cold. 
• Animals that live in the desert must be adapted to withstand these high temperatures.
