Spider


  • Spiders are invertebrates and there are many species in different parts of the world.
  • They have eight legs and have poison glands that paralyze their prey. 
  • They produce silk, called a spider web. It's used to create networks to hunt and for transportation. 
  • They are insectivorous, they eat animals that are trapped in their network.

Chameleon


  • Chameleons are reptiles
  • They have four legs and a very long and quick tongue
  • Their eyes can be moved independently of each other. 
  • They can change color under the circumstances to defend themselves from predators. 
  • They move slowly and are insectivores; they eat small insects that get caught with their sticky tongue.

Scorpion

  • Scorpions are invertebrates.
  • They have eight legs and four shaped clamp and a tail ending in a venomous stinger with which they defend. 
  • They are largely insectivorous and eat invertebrates like insects or spiders. They are nocturnal animals.

Snake


  • Snakes are reptiles
  • They are characterized by the absence of limbs and body very long
  • The snake skin is covered with scales and periodically change this.
  • Are moved by lateral body undulations. There are many species of snakes, some have poisonous bite.
  • Snakes can be carnivorous (eat small animals) or omnivorous (eating eggs of animals).

Dromedary


  • Dromedary is similar to the camel. 
  • The fur is shorter, the body is less robust and has only one hump
  • They are herbivores too.

Camel


  • Camel is a mammal
  • It has four legs, shorter than the dromedary  but is more robust, and is characterized by two humps
  • In these stores the water and energy to spend many days without eating or drinking. 
  • It is covered by a thick brown fur on the neck, the humps and legs. This protects them from cold in winter and in summer they drop. Camels are herbivores, eating plants found in the desert.

Desert region



Description:

  • Deserts are dry and with very little vegetation. 
  • Climates are extreme, in the day makes very hot and at nights are very cold
  • Animals that live in the desert must be adapted to withstand these high temperatures.
